How do you get into a guy’s head and make him chase you? How do you get him to do all the work instead of you? What can you do to make him see that he needs to get you before anyone else does? Wouldn’t it be nice if you could make all of this happen? There are some things you can do to make a guy chase you; follow along.

Play hard to get. When a woman seems unattainable, this only enhances a guy’s interest even more. Guys love a challenge, and winning the affection of a female conquest is the ultimate competition. Make him work to get your attention and offer up just a little of yourself at a time. Pay attention to how much effort he puts into trying to see you or talk to you. If he doesn’t back down, then he is really interested and you can probably continue to make him chase you.

Many women make the mistake of trying to do too much for their guy and they ultimately end up pursuing him rather than the other way around. Men will let this happen because it’s easy for them and they are essentially lazy. Don’t fall into this trap. If you constantly give, you are hurting yourself in two ways. First, you will easily be taken for granted and second, your man will soon become very bored. Nice girls can sometimes become very uninteresting.

So, put him to the test to see how much effort he will put into trying to win you. If you play the flirting game with him and he doesn’t pursue you, then he’s probably not as interested as you are. Chalk it up to his loss and move on. Always remember that it’s the lure of the challenge that will make a man chase you. Always make him think that you are the prize to be won.

Most women look forward to Valentines Day, especially if they’re seeing someone special. However, Valentine’s Day can create unforeseen problems for relationships. Make sure your relationship doesn’t suffer because of a V-Day mishap or miscommunication.

The most common problem women face on Valentines Day is in buying your partner the right gift. The major difficult in buying the perfect gift arises from the fact different gifts are appropriate for relationships at different stages. In addition, some men are slightly resentful about the idea of receiving expensive gifts from their partners. While women like receiving gifts and enjoy getting lovely flowers, perfumes, or even expensive jewellery, most men report that they feel uncomfortable receiving expensive gifts from their partners. This is especially true if it’s a relatively new relationship – some men go so far as to confide that receiving expensive gifts from a new girlfriend makes them feel as though she’s trying to buy their love, or treating them like a gigolo. This obviously puts a strain on the relationship. Instead of being a joyous event, Valentines Day then becomes the turning point when the relationship started to sour. So make sure you buy your boyfriend an appropriate gift!

Another problem that women face is that some men don’t like to make a huge deal out of Valentines Day. They feel pressurized by the notion of a day of love and commitment, especially if the two of you are not formally in a committed, exclusive relationship, or if the commitment between the two of you is very recent. So they don’t like celebrating the occasion formally, for instance with a big romantic dinner. This is especially true since they might also worry that you may misinterpret a big, romantic gesture that they make. Don’t insist on celebrating the day in a grandiose manner – plan something low-key and fun to do together instead.

Some relationships become slightly rocky because of misunderstandings about the significance of Valentines Day. A man might consider that a toaster is a perfectly wonderful gift for his girlfriend. It’s best not to have too high hopes for a nice Valentines Day gift – it’s better just to be pleasantly surprised if he does buy you something lovely.

What most women don’t realize is that men tend to be quite unenthusiastic about Valentines Day. For them, it’s more like any other day, and some cynics think it’s just a Hallmark holiday. So the safest way to treat Valentines is casually, unless your partner brings up the topic by himself, and wants to plan a big event.

Chlamydia one of the most frequently reported sexually transmitted diseases in the North America. Estimates are that more than 89 million people worldwide are currently infected with the disease. It is caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis. Chlamydia can be transmitted through oral, vaginal, or anal sex. It can also be passed from a mother to her baby during a vaginal birth. Anyone who is sexually active is at risk for contracting chlamydia, and the greater the number of sexual partners, the greater the risk. Even close physical contact can cause transmission if bodily fluids are exchanged. Penetrating sex is not required to contract or spread chlamydia.

The chlamydia bacterium is similar to gonorrhea in the symptoms it produces and the way it is spread. Like gonorrhea, it can live in the cervix, urethra, throat, and rectum. Infected persons, both men and women, may lack any symptoms and can spread the disease unknowingly to other sexual partners.

Chlamydia symptoms (Men and Women)

Chlamydia symptoms usually become evident in one to three weeks after infection. However, chlamydia is one of the silent STDs because some people show no symptoms at all. It is estimated that about 75 percent of women and 50 percent of men exhibit no signs of the disease.

In women, chlamydia symptoms include vaginal discharge, burning or painful urination, abdominal pain, and lower back pain, pain during intercourse, fever, nausea, and vaginal bleeding between periods. In men, common symptoms include burning or painful urination, penile discharge, burning or itching around the opening of the penis, and swelling of the testicles.

Chlamydia Treatment

If used properly, antibiotics can completely cure this sexually transmitted disease. Chlamydia treatment can be achieved in a single dose with the antibiotic azithromycin. Another antibiotic that is commonly used is doxycycline but repeated doses over one week are required.

Although there is typically no resistance to antibiotics by the chlamydia bacterium, recent discoveries of antibiotic resistant strains have been made. It is unclear whether these strains are present in humans, and further research needs to be conducted. However, this could be an emerging problem for anyone who contracts or is at risk for contracting the disease.

Complications

When left untreated, this sexually transmitted disease can result in serious complications. PID occurs when the infection travels upwards into the female reproductive organs. This complication develops in nearly 40 percent of women who do not seek treatment. The damage caused by PID can lead to infertility, chronic pelvic pain, and potentially fatal ectopic pregnancies. Women infected with chlamydia are also up to five times more likely to contract HIV if exposed, than women with a healthy reproductive system.

Like gonorrhea, chlamydia is also responsible for an increased risk of premature birth. The infant is also likely to contract the infection while traveling through the birth canal. This can lead to serious eye injury or pneumonia. However, all newborns are treated with eye drops that kill the chlamydia bacteria to prevent serious damage to the eyes. This practice is routine because so many women carry the infection unknowingly and without symptoms.

In men, chlamydia complications are rarer, but can occur. Infection can spread to the epididymis, or the tube that carries sperm from the testes. This can lead to pain, fever, and in very rare cases, sterility. Other rare side effects of this sexually transmitted disease includes skin lesions, inflammation of the eyes, arthritis, and meningitis.

Prevention

As with all sexually transmitted diseases, chlamydia can be prevented most easily by abstaining from sexual intercourse completely, or engaging in sexual activity with one monogamous partner who has been tested and confirmed negative for the disease. Latex condoms, when used properly, can reduce the risk of transmission, although it cannot completely remove the risk.

To prevent the risk of serious complications, it is recommended that you undergo regular screenings for all STDs, including chlamydia. Any genital symptoms such as soreness, itching, burning, or bleeding, should be immediately evaluated by a qualified medical professional.

Chlamydia is a common infection which is caused due to sexual transmission. The bacterium Chlamydia trachoma is causes this infection. This bacterium infects the eye and the human genitals. Worldwide the most common sex transmitted infection is the Chlamydia infection. Almost 2.3 million people are infected with these bacteria in the United States. In humans this is the most common sexually transmitted disease. This bacterium is found living in the cells of the humans. The transmission of this infection happens during oral, anal, vaginal sex.

This can also be transferred from pregnant mother to the child during vaginal birth. Women generally do not experience any symptoms of the infection if they are infected in the neck or the womb. In men the infection is generally symptomatic with a white discharge from the tip of the penis either with pain or without pain while urinating. The conditions also spread to upper genital tract for women or to epididyms in men.

If this infection is untreated the damages are serious health problems and reproductive issues with short or long term problems. This infection is treated with antibiotics very easily. This infection is one of the most common reasons for blindness in the world. The infection in the womb’s neck is generally asymptomatically sexually transmitted disease in majority of the women.

It is not easily detected by the doctor who leads to PID (Pelvic inflammatory disease. The PID is a generic name for infection of fallopian tubes, ovaries or uterus. The infection causes a scaring in the reproductive organ which can cause complications serious in nature for pregnancy. It is generally termed as “Silent Epidemic” in females and can go undetected for a long time.

Some of the Symptoms are unusual discharge or bleeding, abdomen pain, pain during sexual intercourse, pain during urinating, fever and the urge to urinate frequently. In Men it is generally a cloudy, white of watery discharge at the tips of the penis. Other symptoms in men include swollen testicles or tender testicles, burning sensation during urination. This infection spreads from one eye to another through fingers clothes or shared towels, sneezing, coughing.

In women who are sexually active and not pregnant screening will be recommended to check the infection’s risk. IF the female is pregnant then the guidelines for screening vary. The general risk factors which are mentioned are a history of Chlamydia infection, having multiple sexual partners and using inconsistent condoms. ?-lactams cannot be used to treat Chlamydia even though they can halt the growth but the bacteria are not eliminated. The bacteria will start to grow once the treatment gets stopped.

Recent studies reveal Chlamydia has a common ancestor with plants and has the unusual plant traits. The L-diaminopimelate aminotransferase enzyme which relates to lysine production is linked with the Chlamydia’s cell wall construction.

This helps in developing new treatments for this infection. If the scientists find an effective and safe inhibitor of the enzyme then we might have a very good antibiotic which can cure Chlamydia.

To Your Health!
